We’ve been busy! See what we’ve been up to in our November 2023 Product Updates.
We’ve had a lot going on behind the scenes, and we are thrilled to share some exciting updates with you this month! As always, it is because of your valuable feedback that we improve our products in a way that serves all our customers and allows Brushfire to remain an innovative event management platform. We are so grateful to all of you!
This month’s updates bring some long-awaited requests, as well as a few things that bring efficiency to current processes. Let’s jump in!
This update allows you, our customers, the ability to prevent attendees from making financial changes, especially negative changes that result in refunds, to attendee registrations/tickets but still allows basic information changes and updates as usual.
At the bottom of the Main Details Tab of your Event Configuration, you can decide what financial changes to allow your attendees to make:
You can now communicate differently to buyers/attendees depending upon what attendee types are purchased for your event! Customers can customize attendee-type text for confirmation emails and print layouts (tickets, e-tickets, and name badges). General Admission Cart Timers – This is primarily for events that are very low capacity (overall and/or per attendee type and/or per field option) and have a proportionally higher-than-average demand (imagine a trip/class with only 30 spots, but 100 people are interested in it). You can toggle this feature on/off under your Event’s Main Details tab.
Change Calculator – A change calculator was added to the checkout screen of the mobile app. It is near the very bottom, right above the Submit button.
When checking in from the Manage Page, you can now turn on automatic printing. When on the Check-in tab for your event, select the gear icon and choose the layout option you want to print automatically after checking attendees in at your events.
