FTC's Junk Fees Rule Takes Effect May 12th

On May 12th, 2025, the Federal Trade Commission’s new Junk Fees Rule goes into effect, requiring all event organizers and ticketing platforms to display the total price—including all mandatory fees—upfront when advertising or displaying ticket prices.
