Registration and Purchasing Processes got an Upgrade!
Enhanced customizations to check-in parameters for our time slot ticketing events, improved options for collecting fees, and a special update for international taxes (when needed) bring more laser focus to the data that is most important to you.
We are proud to keep enhancing our features each month so that you can continue parsing out your data more and more to not only find the answers you need but also better prepare for each future event you hold. Time Slot Events now have a default check-in session that is fully set up for you! From there, customize your check-in time allowances down to the minute for early or late check-in, with the functionality to override or allow at your convenience as the event organizer. Collecting and tracking your ticketing and payment processor fees just got much more manageable. Order Fees are calculated to recoup your payment processing costs fully. These costs are usually a fixed fee + percentage, rounded to the nearest penny. Now in Brushfire, Order Fees will apply once per Order and are in addition to and inclusive of Attendee Fees, which are applied per Attendee.
To ensure no charges are set up or made in error, Order Level Fees are a feature that an internal member of our Brushfire team must turn on. If you want to turn these on for your event, please contact a team member!
For our friends abroad, we have worked hard to accommodate how different countries are required to display their taxes. A recent refresh now allows taxes to be included and shown more clearly in the sales display price.
This will need to be set in three different places on your dashboard. In your Organization Settings, you now have a custom field to label how you want the taxes displayed, GST for example. Then, under Main Details in your event configuration, you can set the Tax Rate, and under Attendee, Inclusive Taxes will be checked as shown below,
Please note that once Inclusive Taxes are turned on for an event, it cannot be undone; a new event would need to be created. Feel free to contact our team to clarify if this feature is right for you!
