As we bid farewell to 2024 and embrace the dawn of a new year, we want to extend our deepest gratitude for being an integral part of the Brushfire community. Your trust and feedback are the driving forces behind everything we do. Over the past year, your passion has inspired us, your insights have propelled our innovations, and we have been honored to support your remarkable events. 

Let’s take a quick look at all we’ve been able to accomplish together in the past year:

New Event Options

  • Our Flex Pass now offers the flexibility of relative dates, allowing you to configure validity based on the purchase date. Learn more about setting up your Flex Pass in our Help Article.
  • For those in the attractions space, our new Time Slot Sales Solutions allow you to manage crowd sizes, provide seamless check-in per slot, and keep lines moving efficiently. Check out our Help Article to see if Time Slot Ticketing is right for you.

Payment Updates

  • Square Reader is now fully integrated with Brushfire, ensuring a seamless transaction process without leaving the app. Additionally, Brushfire now supports the Square Stand, offering a streamlined checkout experience with fewer cords and a cleaner counter.
  • We have expanded our payment options with Square, now including Gift cards, Afterpay, CashApp, and Bank transfers. Dive into the details of each method and their integration with Square in our Help Article.
  • The Stripe Reader M2 offers another efficient way to process on-site payments at your events. Follow our guide to set up your device for on-site sales with Brushfire.
  • With Stripe’s Tap to Pay on iPhone, you can now accept contactless payments directly on a compatible iPhone or Android device without the need for additional hardware. Start using Tap to Pay on iPhone today with our Help Article.
  • Group Management for Bulk Payments has been enhanced, allowing Group Leaders to view payment details for all attendees in their group. Discover more about this feature here!
  • Order Level Fees are now easier to manage, with fees calculated to recoup payment processing costs. These fees apply once per order and are inclusive of Attendee Fees.
  • For our international users, we have updated our system to better accommodate different countries’ tax display requirements, ensuring clarity in sales display prices.

Updated Experiences and Customizations

  • Customize your event tickets with our new Ticket Layouts and Customizable Wallet Passes. Design your tickets, choose the data displayed, and see real-time previews of how they will appear as web tickets, Apple Wallet passes, or Google Wallet passes. Learn how to set it up for your event!
  • Explore new viewing options for our Calendar in Customer Experience, and learn how to display this Calendar View for your events.
  • Our new Map View for Your Events List auto-zooms to center the attendee’s location, displaying nearby events first. As users zoom out, more events appear on the map and list. Try it out here!
  • Brushfire Virtual Events now offers content access relative to the order date, providing flexibility in setting expiration dates. Review how it works here!
  • The ‘Skip All’ feature in pre-registrations allows customers to expedite the checkout process by skipping information fields, with the option to complete them later.

Mobile App Updates

  • Our Mobile App now supports Direct Print via Bluetooth, enabling seamless connections to Star, Brother, and Zebra printers. Discover how to utilize this feature in our Help Article.
  • Our Mobile Check-In feature now includes a Full Search option, enabling attendees to check in using their name, number, or other available fields. This option can be used alone or alongside the usual Camera and Email options.

New Integration

  • We are excited to announce our new integration with CartStack, designed to help you recover potential customers through cart abandonment solutions.
