This month, we’re rolling out a small but genuinely useful improvement to how you import attendees, shining a light on a feature that’s already live and ready to work for your events, and taking a moment to celebrate the team that makes it all possible.

Managing attendee data just got a whole lot smoother.
We’ve added a new optional column to Brushfire’s import process called Order Email, and it’s a simple change that makes a meaningful difference for how your data comes in.
Previously, each attendee imported into Brushfire was placed into their own individual order — one attendee, one order, every time. That works fine at a basic level, but it doesn’t always reflect how your registrations actually look in the real world, especially when families, teams, or groups register together.
Now, with the Order Email column, you can group attendees into shared orders right from your spreadsheet. Add the same Order Email address to multiple rows, and Brushfire will recognize them as part of the same order when you import. Different Order Email addresses stay separate, so you stay in control of how things are grouped.
The result: cleaner data, more organized orders, and a better experience when it’s time to communicate. When attendees are grouped under a shared order, order-level emails go out once per order instead of once per attendee. So if a family of five is registered together, they get one email, not five. No duplicate inboxes, no confused attendees wondering why they got the same message ten times.
It’s a small column with a big impact on how organized and professional your events run.
